Mental illness is a growing concern in our world today. On the Rocks is about surviving the aftermath of suicide, and believing in love again. Levi and Braunwyn’s love story is inspired by events that impacted the lives of people I care about deeply. With all of the research and ongoing concerns with mental health, I’ve decided to try and do something to bring awareness and light to this growing concern. I will be donating 10% of all pre-order and release week profits to Canadian Mental Health Association.

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
This is my first book by this author but I am definitely going to go back and read Ryker and Kat's story and keep my eye out for what else she has going on. I really enjoyed this story. It is so nice to read a story not so focussed on cheating and angst and all that annoying useless drama !! Having said that I do love useless drama I am a sucker for torture !! BUT again it was refreshing to connect to Levi and Braun for real reasons and having the pain and heartache be for much different reasons. They have an electrifying chemistry and that little Emmerson is the sweetest most amazing book kiddo ever !! I wove her little voice and the way she wraps Levi and her innocent honesty. Well done with the characters.
Braun never had things easy. A very strict family that forced rules and beliefs on her at a young age. Of course she finds the love of her life in high school and neither family approved. On top of that stress she becomes pregnant and despite her and Shawn attempting to be independent adults they have no love or support from their families. If that was the end of their struggles our story would be different but then Braun loses Shawn and is left suffering on her own at 18 and pregnant. Grams to the rescue and thankfully this allows for Braun to move away and attempt to make a great life for her and her baby. 4 years later life is flowing smoothly despite the grief. Braun is job hunting and taking college classes, she has her daughter , her Grams and her bestie London. She never really needed or expected to feel the connection she felt immediately when Levi interviewed her for a job.
Levi is a workaholic , running his bar Pub Fiction to perfection and of course taking advantage of the endless supply of chicks. I mean he is super hot and successful in his business. He has great friends and an amazing family but he never cared to settle down. All that changes the second he spots Braun , who he assumed was a man , in his office for an interview !! It was kind of funny yet also sexually frustrating with these two being so close yet just friends. Their little Trump game blew up in their faces quickly and they honestly had some smooth sailing. Braun was hiding a bit of her past , the biggest bit she had yet Levi was patient to wait her out. There were a couple twists and some really touching moments but again this was an easy read and very enjoyable plus not to mention HOT !!
