Jill's Review of Lost by D.H. Sidebottom & Ker Dukey ~ RELEASE BLITZ ~

Title: Lost
Co written By: D.H Sidebottom & Ker Dukey
Cover Designer: Amy Queau

We came from nothing and were given a second chance at life, and life was pretty good until it tipped on its axis and my world came tumbling down around me.
My Baby Sister is missing…
Stolen…
Lost…
I’ve never felt this helpless before now, the vacant hole inside me expanding with each passing second of not knowing where she is.
What’s she going through?
Is she hurt?
Suffering?
Alive?
The more I learn of her disappearance the more fear implants itself inside my heart, hardening – darkening.
The world is a depraved place, full of evil lurking behind normality.
Behind smiles.
Behind deception and facades.
She needs me and I will do whatever it takes to find her.
Whatever.
Whatever.

5 stars for my first adventure into the world of Ker Dukey and D.H. Sidebottom. This will definitely be a writing duo I look forward to reading many more books from in the future. This book is a stand alone, dark erotica and could cause emotional triggers so please be mindful before you start reading.

Winter Kelly was fourteen years old when the horrible life as she knew it...changed. Winter and her seven year old sister - Summer were adopted by a loving couple and placed in a safe, secure environment. Seven years have gone by and Winter is studying to become a detective and her sister is a seemingly happy fourteen year old that remembers nothing of their past life...

Everything changes once again on the day of Summer's fifteenth birthday when she is suddenly missing inciting panic in Winter and her parents. This is so out of character for Summer so all signs point to the serial killer on the loose that is abducting then killing young teenage girls. Winter is devastated but at the same time hopeful since none of the girls abducted were killed immediately so she takes all of her training and any means necessary to search for her sister...

A detective from her past - Cole Jennings arrives to take part in the investigation he also partners up with Winter in her search to find her little sister. While Cole is about ten years older then Winter he can't help but notice how beautiful she turned out and has to fight his attraction to this fearless woman...

Winter and Cole are working against the clock in a game of cat and mouse with danger/mystery/dead ends at every turn hoping to find Summer before it's too late.

Absolutely loved this book and felt invested with these interesting characters. While there was fast paced investigating going on all over they slowed it down just enough for super hot sexy times too. Great setting, great characters, great plot :)

REVIEWED BY JILL

She is an avid reader and her tastes range from horror to erotic, but she loves to help new authors get into the ‘scene’. She loves rock music and tattooed guys, and has a weakness for coffee, wine and Belgium buns.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
