Book Description:
Ten years ago, Benjamin Romanov left behind a world of violence and intrigue. Now he’s living the dream as the chief technology officer at PharmGen, the world’s largest provider of vaccinations. The perks are amazing—a luxury penthouse, fast car, and his pick of women. The only downside to his job is reporting employees for less than scrupulous e-mail practices, but when he is forced to confront an employee in the lab, he ends up preventing a security guard from killing an innocent woman.
Receptionist Morgan Tanner never meant to get caught in the crosshairs of a deal gone wrong. All she wanted was one night of excitement with the sexy and elusive Benjamin Romanov. But now they’re on the run, and Benjamin thinks she has something to do with why everyone wants to kill them. Only she has no idea what’s going on at all—she was only in the lab to deliver a time-sensitive package.
With time running out, Benjamin must find a way to protect an innocent woman while keeping his distance… and expose PharmGen to the world before the deadly virus is unleashed.
REVIEW
5 stars for the second book in the Target series which takes place ten years after book one and features Roman's younger brother Ben and his co-worker Morgan. While this is a series it is not necessary to have read book one to read this one, but I highly recommend it since it was such a good book.
Morgan Tanner is a receptionist at PharmGen and while she seems fairly content in her job the fraternization policy seems to be the only rule she would ever willingly break. So when she unwittingly intercepts a package that puts her in harms way and causes people to lose their lives Morgan begins to question what is really going on at PharmGen. It seems the only person that can keep her safe is the man she broke the company policy with...
Benjamin Romanov is the chief technology officer at PharmGen and he does all the background and IT checks at the company. Ben left a life in the Bratva to be "normal" or so he thought and proceeded to become the resident computer guru at PharmGen until he walked in on someone trying to murder Morgan. Now Ben is on the run with Morgan and vows he will keep her safe no matter what...
This series is just getting better and better with its 007/conspiracy theory storylines mixed with a smoking hot romance. Absolutely love these ex-Bratva boys with their hearts of gold that will protect their women at any and all costs. Bring on Dmitry, since I am sure he will have plenty to say :)
