The synopsis gives you a great start to what is going on in this story. The GOOD GIRL meets the BAD BOY and the attraction , tension and connection is off the charts. You are eagerly waiting for them to go against all they should and go at it !! The suspense of their coming together is literally driving you crazy !! BUT on top of this there is some deep past issues for both Damien and River.

We meet River as she is running one of her father's successful companies and babysitting her little sister on the side. There is a back story , we don't get it yet , but it is one that has left River feeling guilty and responsible to make sure her sister is happy. Once you meet her sister Charity - WOW - what a piece of work. I feel for River and once you get her backstory you just can't help but want to make both her and Charity feel happy and safe.

Damien runs many successful businesses but this one day at the office when he sees River he is smitten and caught off guard. He is on a mission to see her again and get to know her. His past is colorful , his major business is an escort service he used to work !! He may not be an escort anymore but he made a name for himself and it isn't easy to escape that. Can he get River to give him the time of day ??

Their journey is a whirlwind and once it starts the things creeping out of the woodwork will send you on a wild ride. The current soon to be ex boyfriend of River , the ex boyfriend/business partner that her father loves , the family secret - River has so many issues she begs Damien to leave her alone. We know men never listen !! Damien surprised me , he was such an amazing , honest and caring guy I was so glad he didn't listen and that River was willing to accept. Her family has spun a crazy web and despite certain people's agendas Damien and River just may get their HEA !! Regardless the sex is off the charts hot and I could go back and read it over and over again !!

I enjoyed meeting the characters and I look forward to what comes next.

Hey there! I'm Maegan and I am also a book whore... Seriously, I'm pretty sure I should be in some sort of rehab for this. Book Whore's Anonymous or something! I have a huge list of book boyfriends and it seems I find a new one every time I read. (Which, unfortunately, isn't very often anymore.) Well, I was a huge reader. From childhood, I loved the escape of reading. Being the middle of three kids, I was always the quiet one. While my older brother and younger sister fought for attention, I curled up in my room with a book. After high school, I fell out of reading as much. Life just became different, as it does for all of us. Then I went to college in my mid-twenties and who had time to read anything but school texts between classes and two jobs. I was also an assistant Girl Scout leader for my young cousins troop. The leader had been telling me for months that I needed to read Twilight. There was so much hype surrounding those books (The first movie had just come out on DVD at the time) and I refused over and over. Finally, we were at camp one weekend and it was the first time that the girls were officially in charge of everything. From rotating teams in the kitchen to clean up, the girls did it all and we were bored out of our minds. Finally, a van full of us went into the nearest town and raided a Wal Mart for books and cards to play games. The leader talked me into buying Twilight. I started it that afternoon and couldn't put it down. I stayed up til lights out and could barely sleep because I wanted to keep reading. The best part was, the girls were so excited. They were all running up to me all day asking me what part I was at. Their excitement fueled my own. That is what got me excited about reading again. The story was good, I enjoyed it, but the passion for reading was really brought back through the eyes of sixteen twelve-year-olds who loved sharing something they enjoyed with me. Maybe that's why I love sharing what I enjoy now!
