Author: A.M. Madden
Genre: Contemporary Romance Stand Alone
Release Date: January 25, 2016

Love isn't always smooth sailing.
Graduating from college is supposed to be a promise for excitement and limitless possibilities. But for unemployed Rebecca Stanton, the highlight of her day is sitting in her parents’ home with a pint of Chunky Monkey while watching The Bachelor. Desperate for change and inspired by a late night commercial, she stumbles onto a job opportunity with a new cruise line, packs her bags, and sets sail toward her new destiny.
Life is full of an endless supply of exciting possibilities for Marco Puglia. The tall, dark, handsome, ITALIAN Cruise Director with Sunset Cruise Lines is practically a celebrity in the cruising industry. When Marco adds Rebecca to his staff, he soon discovers it is both the best and worst decision he's ever made. The beautiful siren has captured his attention and ensnared his heart. An intense attraction like theirs doesn’t follow the rules, even one that forbids a boss/employee relationship.
Will their blatant mutiny force their newly found love aground, or will Rebecca and Marco find love on their horizon?
Love on The Horizon is a contemporary romantic comedy meant for readers who are 18+ due to mature content.

3.5 stars

This was a nice light-hearted read that had me smiling and laughing throughout. When life wasn’t going the way she thought it would, Rebecca decided to throw caution to the wind and work on a cruise ship. It was supposed to be glamorous and it was but the one thing she wasn’t expecting was falling in love. Marco was the cruise director and his life was all about the job. That is until he meets Rebecca. He too wasn’t expecting to fall in love. But the more time they spent together, the attraction just kept growing until it was too hard to deny. Though they did have someone trying to make them see the light. I loved seeing how Marco and Rebecca went from trying to deny their feelings to giving into its enormity. I could tell that they were great for each other. However, their relationship isn’t as easy as it should be. With complications and obstacles from their jobs and families, it proved to be a hardship. But Marco and Rebecca knew their love was special and were willing to fight to get their happy ending. And it was nice to see a couple work together for something they both wanted/needed.
Marco and Rebecca were great characters. They balanced each other so perfectly. I enjoyed reading them when they were together. Ricky was another great character that I loved. Such a good friend to both. Overall, a good story that will leave you with a warm, nice feeling.
