Amie's Review of Cammie by Jennifer Foor ~ RELEASE BLITZ ~

  cammiereleaseday       Cammie_ecover

I’ve always done the right thing. People expect nothing less from me. Then came medical school, deadlines, and the pressure of being the best. I became overwhelmed, seeking out alternate ways to stay on top, like extracurricular activities will my mentor. After a while my life was spinning out of control. I fell in love and began having an affair with my married professor, and to top it off we’ve been caught by his vengeful spouse. She’ll stop at nothing to expose her husband for the lying, cheating man he’s become, putting me directly in the crossfires of their very public separation. The school board is talking about revoking my credits. I think he loves me. He claims we can have a future if I’m patient, but now there is something pressing me to make drastic decisions. I’m pregnant and he thinks it’s best if I abort the child before anyone finds out. My only choice is to leave town, to return to the family who I know will protect me. I don’t know what’s going to happen when my family discovers the truth, but at this point nothing can hurt me more than losing everything I’ve worked my whole life for.

REVIEW

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

Bring me some more Mitchell/Healy family drama !! Is it wrong of me to enjoy these kids screwing up like their parents did ?? Well if it is I apologize because I love it !! We have known for years that J4 can write angst and steam and sometimes the things that come out of her characters mouths are just so real I have to think if she was in my head !! Especially during some of the sex scenes, OMG I laugh and think OK glad it isn't just me !! The one constant in these stories is that regardless of how bad the screw ups are they always find their way home and look for the help of their family. It isn't always a fast fix and sometimes there is even more drama like in Cammie's story BUT in the end you know someone amazing will step in and in the end there will be some kind of happiness until the next one tells their story !!

Cammie was the quiet nerdy girl , off at college to become a doctor. As a kid/teen she always studied and read and never really ventured out of her comfort zone. Now having an issue with a test she is forced to face her professor and figure out a way to fix her grade so she can finish her degree here and move onto Stanford in the fall. Of course this particular professor happens to be gorgeous and charming. Something he says spurs on thoughts and actions they both claimed to want to stay away from. Nothing good can come from  student/teacher affair and poor Cammie learns the hard way. Licking her wounds and driving home to find the security of her family is scary but needed. Once home it seems things may get a bit harder before they get any easier. Connor and Amy are not happy with their daughter's actions and they only know half the story. Surprisingly they have no sympathy despite the situation they were in years ago. Understandably they want better and more for their daughter. So anyhow... in steps Wes, the brothers geeky friend who is now a full blown man and a hot one at that !! Doing anything he can to help Cammie becomes his goal and honestly he is such a great guy and I enjoyed getting to know him and read about their time together. He may be crazy for signing up for this but for him it may pay off in the end !! Love when the kid gets his chance with his childhood crush !! Will Cammie right her wrongs , salvage her education and get an amazing guy ?? It seems to good to be true but in Mitchell/Healy style you won't be let down !! Cammie is a lucky girl when it comes to the sex department. She may have a long road ahead but WOW she had some fun times with the professor and if that didn't get you hot and sweaty maybe Wes will !!
