WOW I waited impatiently for this and then read it , loved it and have no clue where my review originally went ?? 

Liam and Samantha have now been apart for the first time in years. As sad as I was to have them apart I truly enjoyed seeing Samantha grow on her own and learn more about the other characters this book brought to light. I enjoyed reading the suspense and danger. I can't wait to see how this ends and what else comes of North Security and its employees.

 The front door immediately opened, and four girls trickled out. I tried like hell to get a better look at them all.   “Stay here,” Jeff ordered us.   Once the door shut, Josh let out a laugh. “Is it just me, or does Jeff seem like he’s lost his damn mind?”   “Not just you,” Brad stated.   I watched as one of the girls moved closer to Jeff. Her brown hair was piled on top of her head, and her back was toward us.   “I can’t get a good look at her, damn it,” I whispered.   “Me either,” Brad stated.   Josh practically crawled into the front seat. “Do you think that’s the sister?”   “Maybe.”   Another girl walked up and got between Jeff and the girl who might be Ellie. It looked like she had brown hair as well. She looked pretty from what I could tell.   “Shoot me right now. That girl has a fucking hot body,” Josh said.   “You better hope that is a friend of the sister’s and not Ellie herself,” I said with a laugh. “But you’re right. She does have a nice body. So does the one with her back to us.”   I knew that was Ellie. I couldn’t explain how I knew; I simply did. My chest was pounding with the idea of her walking up to the truck and Jeff finally introducing her to us.   “Yeah, so does the blonde,” Brad added. “Can’t really see the other one; Jeff’s blocking her.”   “She has red hair, and trust me, she’s rocking a hot body as well and is pretty as fuck,” Josh stated as he leaned farther up into the front seat. “Why do I feel like I’ve seen her before?”   “Dude, why don’t you just fucking crawl up here already?” I snapped.   “Why didn’t girls look like this when we were in high school?” Brad asked with a sigh.   All three of us laughed as a porch light turned on, lighting it up for us to get a good look at all the girls.   The girl who had her back to us, who I was guessing was Ellie, turned and looked at the truck.   She was beautiful. My heart felt like it dropped to my stomach.   Josh gasped. The fucker actually gasped. “Holy. Shit. No wonder the bastard has been keeping her away from us. She is hot as hell.”   “That she is,” Brad agreed.   My eyes strained to take her all in. I could see her, could tell she was absolutely stunning, but I needed to see her better. Study her face so I could remember it.   Jeff pulled her into his arms and kissed her on the forehead. They took a few steps closer to the truck, and Jeff pointed. He leaned down and said something to her, making her look directly back at the truck again and smile.   My breath caught in my throat. She was stunning. I wondered what she looked like with the sun shining down on that pretty face of hers.   Ellie lifted her hand and waved toward us.   “I’m getting out!” Josh said, trying to scramble into the driver’s seat. I stopped him and pushed his ass back, forcing him to land next to Brad, who was laughing his head off.   I pointed to Josh. “Dude, he told us not to get out. Unless you want to get your ass beat, I suggest you stay in the truck.”   Crossing his arms, Josh looked away.   “Are you pouting?” Brad asked. “You’re freaking pouting. You pansy-ass!”   I couldn’t help but smile before turning back around and looking at Jeff and Ellie. As they moved a bit closer, Jeff stopped and turned to his sister. Her gaze went back to the truck, and it felt like I was having a déjà vu. A chill ran up and down my spine, and I couldn’t shake the feeling I’d seen Ellie somewhere else.       

      

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

I admit I have fallen short trying to keep up with Kelly Elliott and her series BUT there was no way I could resist going back to the start of it all and reading about the guys , especially Gunner !! It has been years since I read Wanted and the others in the series but man I was brought back and could almost recall some things word for word ! I loved it so much and enjoyed see different perspectives of those initial meetings between the girls and guys. Now to go ahead and see what else from Kelly I need to catch up on !!

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW

I am trying to figure out if it is the ease in which these books read , the honesty I feel in the characters or the fact that they take place in an area near where I grew up, something about this series has me captivated and easily rating 5 stars. 

I love how they all start in the same way, the characters all have connections to one another and beyond the heat and suspense we see a true family building here. This of course always makes me happy and thinking about future spin offs !! 

Finn and Sarah's story didn't disappoint and it was fun to see it being HIS past catching up to him and HER present causing issues. This made the suspense so much more because you really didn't know where it would come from next. When we met Sarah in book 2 you could tell she was a wild one !! Ryan has his hands full with his sister and now Finn has some excitement in his small town. 

When this story ended I was seriously upset that no other family crawled out of the woodwork to tell us more stories. I do look forward to seeing what these authors do next.

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW

It has been awhile since I read book 1 BUT I was thrilled to continue on with this series because that little peek we got of Erin and Ryan was promising !! 

These authors do not disappoint with their suspense and sexual heat !! I can't get enough of their characters and Erin and Ryan were explosive in all the right ways. From how they met to how they end up together and then how their story plays out. They are an ongoing circle of heat and suspense that kept me hanging on to the very last word. Of course also thrilled for what would come next with Finn. 

Erin has kept many secrets but Ryan is determined to bust through her shell and win her over. I think what I enjoyed most was that Ryan had no issues being honest and going for what he wanted. Finding out the whole story about Erin was fascinating. I never would have guessed her life had been so different before she settled in the quiet little town of Rockport. Like magnets, Erin's past and Ryan's current case in Boston twist together and make it impossible for the secrets to stay hidden. If you enjoy heat and suspense be sure to read this series !!

5 stars for - Malum: Part 2 - book five in the Elite Kings Club by Amo Jones. This book is the heart-stopping, mind-altering conclusion to Nate and Tillie's story. After all the upheaval in part one I stupidly assumed part two would be a bit more gentle on my soul but Amo shredded all hope of coming out of this one unscathed and set us up for one hell of story with her next King. 

Tillie is not herself after everything that has happened but vows to stay strong and rise above no matter the cost. All the tragedy and pain has taken a toll on the once happy and content girl and without Nate to turn to for support she finds an unlikely ally in Brantley who is quickly becoming one of her closest friends. Tillie knows if she crosses that line with Brantley she can never get back what she once had with Nate but there is something about the most damaged of the Elite that tempts her ravaged soul.

Nate is out for blood and he doesn't care who he has to mow down to find the answers he needs. While his behavior may seem callous and harsh it just goes to show these Kings are a complex twisted bunch that we have no chance of ever figuring out. Nate will get justice and make sure things turn out the way they should have been in the first place.

Having long been a fan of this author I consider it a privilege to watch her take her writing to the next level. She has always been an exemplary writer but this duet (written within a series) puts her writing on a whole other level. I highly recommend reading Malum 1 & 2 ASAP!!!

About Kristen:

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.

During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

This was a GREAT story - sadly I need to read books 1 &2 BUT I don't feel like I was reading anything out of order. I just knew I was missing out on other great stories and felt jealous of those who read them in order !! AL Jackson is a go to author for me. i read anything and everything she writes. Years and years ago someone told me to read Pulled and I never looked back !! Here I am years later , tons of stories later and still getting the same feels from her writing as I did then. The angst , the emotion and always something in the storyline to keep me hooked until the end. 

Mack and Izzy are about to find their second chance at love. They had a great friendship as kids and Izzy was there for Mack when he struggled through life with his father. The stories of the past were heartbreaking to read but I was so glad to have those pieces of the puzzle. Of course we can feel for Izzy and her broken heart but once you get to know more and more of what Mack went through back then you can start to understand his actions more. I won't say you will like his actions but maybe you can forgive him and move on !! Keep in mind this isn't just a love story it is filled with suspense too. Clarissa's piece in the story isn't much deserved but again helps us to understand Mack a bit more. Fear drove them apart, fate brings them back together and love heals all wounds.

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

So I totally missed the release with this BUT here I am weeks later finally finished !! I enjoyed book 1 so this was a no brainer. I will say for some reason I felt it started off slow or with a lot that I didn't grasp because of my own exhaustion. I stopped reading and picked it back up a few weeks later and had a clear mind and was really able to connect the characters from start to finish. I enjoy this author so I am so happy that I made the choice to stop and go back. Sometimes I feel people push through and then really miss out. 

Anton and Piper were a great match. The dark and light finding the perfect space. Anton's past was horrendous and I loved reading his parts in book 1. I was thrilled to get his story and finally see him have some happiness. It was also nice to revisit with Damien and Thea to see how they had grown. This was about chance meetings and fate. I loved the dance aspect of it and the way those things all connected with the good Anton now does for the community. The suspense and danger was just the right amount to keep you on the edge but not overpower the love story building. Of course there was angst and resistance but no lack of fulfillment when the two were together. As much light as Piper had she was definitely a great match for Anton in the bedroom. I liked how things pieced together towards the end and of course wonder if anyone else will have a story...
