Roe always knew that there was more to Whitton (Skinny) than how he looked. The little boy she knew as boy had her heart from day one. Who cared that he was from a trouble home, he was her home. Always there to keep her safe and warm. But when Whitton's twin brother decides to leave town, Whitton has to make the hardest decision of his life.....leave or stay.
Fast forward 10 years and Ruthless Rebel Skinny (Whitton) has to back to his hometown for a funeral. However the quick in and out trip was suppose to be a easy one. Go to the funeral And then leave but when he locks eyes with his past, Skinny is a goner.
Roe didn't think going to the funeral would be emotionally difficult, well the funeral was okay but the scarred man in the back row caught her eyes. He was back and he heart broke a little more. Why after all these years was Whitton Back? What more can one person do to make her crumble?
After being told that there is work in his hometown, Skinny and his brother are forced to honker down and get intel. However with Roe at the forefront of his mind, his task is hard to accomplish. To top it off he when finds out that Roe is somehow tied to his "job",Skinny has to make a decision. Does he try and reclaim what is rightfully his or does he just let her go and live her life?
Scarred is the third novella in the Ruthless Rebels MC Series and by far the most gut wrenching. It deals with some pretty sad issues but I will tell you that it does have a happy ending. All of the MC brothers make appearances, even my fave Shamus. The way Roe loves Whitton is just downright magical and totally goes along with the saving "You can't judge a book by its cover". Now this book did have a little bit of mystery when it came to the twin brother Waylon. We still don't know why he left home or for whom but I am excited to see where his story goes.

Sometimes life just knows how to kick you when you are at your lowest. And then there are times when your salvation comes from the most unlikely source.
Kenderly didn't fantasize about working the graveyard shift at a small truck stop in the middle of nowhere. But after her fathers death and her mothers meltdown, what is a girl to do. Someone had to pay the bills. Everything is going just fine until the mother of her greatest heartbreak walks in. Dixon's (DJ) mother is trouble with a capital "T" and now with no place to go, Kenderly takes her in. Setting the wheels of trouble in motion.
DJ knew when he decided to join the Ruthless Rebels MC , that Kenderly was not going to like his choice. But what the MC could offer him, no one ever could.....family. So fast forward 8 years and DJ hears that his mother is in trouble again but what's worst is that she drug Kenderly and her family in as well. Things have finally gone to far and DJ must make things right and claim the only woman who ever meant anything to him. Who cares if his no good mother doesn't get out alive, as long as Kenderly know his intentions, DJ could care less.
Shamed is the first book in the Ruthless Rebels MC Series. Don't let this novella fool you, you may be able to finish it in one sitting but it is packed to the brim with content. The characters were written with so much detail. From their Alpha Broodiness to the down right panty dropping smiles, these leading men just know how to make a impression. Don't get me wrong, Kenderly's character was also well written and gave just as much sass as expected.

SHERI'S REVIEW OF SCORNED - book 2
Some people can grow out of small town living and some just pack their stuff and run to the hills.....
Andrea always knew there was more to life than being stuck in a small town. But when a horrific accident brings her back "Home", she has no choice but to come face to face with her past.
Austin (Shamus) never could understand why Andrea ran away from their life. Yeah he was the typical boy from the wrong side of the tracks and she was everything good in the world, but what they had was real. Then in a blink of a eye Andrea was gone , leaving a hole in his heart and a chip on his shoulder.
Now with Andrea back in town and friends with Kenderly (see book #1), Shamus is all to aware that he has a chance to make this time right. However when Andreas's past comes rearing its ugly head, can Shamus step up to the plate and deal with all of Andrea's demons.
I found myself enjoying this book much more than Shamed. Even though I liked the first book, there was something about these two that just drew me in. Maybe it was the way Shamus' character was written. He is not only a total Alpha Male but also a big softie too. His ability to deal with all of Andres's health issues just make me want to swoon. I also loved how Andrea gAve just as good as she got. She wasn't your typical heroine who just sits back and lets the guy take the lead. She knew exactly how to deal with Shamus and his ways, and didn't cave.
This is the second story in the Ruthless Rebels MC Series and this novella could be read as a stand alone if need be. But why would anyone want to do that is beyond me.
