Blurb
Two strangers
in Paris ...
One passionate,
earth-shattering kiss.
He was the
artist upstairs
with the
tantalizing smile and laughing eyes.
He was the
devil inviting me to sin,
seducing me to
dance in the bright moonlight.
He was desire
and need.
When he touched
me, my body sang--
my soul came
alive.
But I belonged
to another man,
and he didn't
want to let me go.

4.5 stars for - Love Me In The Dark - by Mia Asher. This is a beautifully written love triangle about a woman - who in a effort to save her marriage - agrees to a trip to Paris with her husband, but ends up going alone and meeting a gorgeous stranger that entices her in ways she never dreamed of.
Valentina Fitzpatrick is a "kept" woman and has been for the last twelve years while being married to William. Choosing to sit on the boards of many charities and shop every day instead of working was what was expected of her so that is what she did. She lived a happy and very content life up until she walked in on her husband and his intern, but she chose to forgive him. Now two years later in a last ditch effort to get back on track she heads to Paris ahead of William to set up the apartment they will stay in, but then he calls and cancels on her. Valentina chooses to stay in Paris and away from William to get her head together.
Sebastian Leroux is a very successful painter that suffered heartache and loss years ago. To deal with his pain he drinks and has meaningless sex with beautiful women. Sebastian never thought he would open his heart again after losing a loved one, but the minute he sees her things start to change. He will do what ever it takes to convince her that he is sincere.
This was such an intense love story that it made you question what exactly you would do if you were in that position. I personally loved all the drama, angst and sexy chemistry too. While this was my first Mia Asher book it certainly will not be my last :)
Author Bio
I'm a writer, a hopeless romantic, a wanderer, a dreamer, a cynic, and a believer. And, I might be a bit crazy - but who isn't?
I believe in happy endings however I know that not everyone is lucky enough to get one, but such is life. I think fine lines exist to be pushed and possibly crossed.
