Jill's Review of Dirty Ride by Chantal Fernando ~ RELEASE DAY BLITZ ~

NOW LIVE!!

DIRTY RIDE
(Wind Dragons MC, #3.5)
by Chantal Fernando

From USA TODAY bestselling author Chantal Fernando comes a brand new Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club e-novella, full of sexy bad-boy bikers, strong heroines, and steamy romance!

Even by Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club standards, Irish was always a bit of a dark horse. Not one to confide his secrets, such as where he got that mysterious scar across his neck, he’s quick with his fists and even quicker to jump to the defense of his MC. But is he nimble enough to handle the woman he never saw coming? Or will she leave him with a matching scar across his heart?

Featuring scorching hot chemistry and plenty of sass, Dirty Ride is sure to rev your engine and get you immediately hooked!

3.5 stars for this short novella about Ardan more widely known as Irish from the Wind Dragons MC and the fiery redhead that captures his heart - Valentina. You do NOT need to have read the previous books in the series to read this one with a worry of missing anything.

Tina moved across the country to get away from a controlling, manipulative and at times even abusive ex-boyfriend and finds herself at Knox's Tavern one night for a drink. While trying to mind her business a man with a beautiful accent can't seem to take the hint regardless of how rude she is, he keeps on talking. Finally Tina has enough and turns toward the persistent stranger to give him a piece of her mind but when she does the man in front of her is so NOT what she expected. This man is as beautiful as his accent but he is wearing a leather vest with multiple patches proclaiming him to part of a motorcycle gang which is something she is not looking to get mixed up with at all. Tina makes excuses to head out and figures she won't ever see this handsome man again but boy was she ever wrong about that one...

Irish is one of the most loyal and reliable brothers in the WDMC and while his brothers will always be important he has met someone that is just as important if not more. Valentina understands that he has work to do for the club and at times he can't talk about it but never once does she get angry with him or question him because of it. So now that trouble has followed her into town he will protect her at all costs int he only way he knows how...

While I liked this story as a part of the WDMC it felt very rushed to me. There were time jumps where we could have got to know these two better as a couple before a declaration of love was given. We did get a quick peek at the other couples in the MC which was nice to see too but I for one am ready for Rake's story to commence :)
