  About TO THE STARS:

In the second standalone book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Molly McAdams’ Thatch series, Knox Alexander must convince his long-time love Harlow Evans that they’re meant to be together. He promised to wait for her. She told him he was wasting his time. Not waiting for him ended up being the biggest mistake of her life. When they were younger, Knox Alexander swore to Harlow Evans that he would wait for her to turn eighteen so they could be together. But that was two and a half years away, and Harlow couldn’t ask him to give up all the fun and thrills of going away to college for her. As the years passed, Knox remained a constant in her life but when her eighteenth birthday came around, Harlow’s heart belonged to someone else. Every day for the last four years, Harlow has been haunted by that fateful choice. And though he may appear unaffected by what happened in their past, Knox has always tried to fill the void Harlow left. But when he comes stumbling back into her life and refuses to leave, will Harlow finally let him into her heart…?

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW

Reading a Molly book makes me recall why I ended up so obsessed with reading to begin with !! I am not expecting a ton of real true to life boring everyday mundane, I am not expecting a happy read all the way , I am not even expecting a fairy tale or HEA BUT I know with Molly I am expecting to cry , to get angry , to be heartbroken and confused. I know I will probably go through periods of hating or strongly disliking someone in the book , like even someone who is a main character and of course nothing will go my way when it should it will take time and time drives me crazy LOL !! To The Stars delivered all that and more. I flew through the story because it flowed for me with the multiple POV and the past/present flashbacks. I loved getting a tiny bit of the past in the midst of the present. Not knowing the exact details of Knox and Low right away. Having to suffer through so much to understand. All those great things that I call torture. I admit I did not read book 1 , but I want to now because I can only imagine...

Low and Knox have a past - we get bits and pieces and honestly Low annoyed me as did Knox's friends. Knox was amazing and I loved him throughout the story. Such a great guy and friend. Everyone else was kind of WTF to me !! Knox wanted to wait for Low to turn 18 since he was older , he wanted to spend his life with her , he knew so soon that she was the one. Yet Low was weird about it. She cared for him and of course wanted him but I think to save her own heart she pushed him away. Of course we find these other underlying factors came into play but in the heat of the moment their choices were typical teen/early 20's aged mistakes. During their friendship his friends were horrible to Low and really annoying with the age thing. I get being nervous about being with a minor but this was overkill.

In the present time we get Low's story which is heart wrenching. I had a connection to her having been in this type of situation but thankfully I did not have it that bad. I was horrified for her and horrified to think as I sat here reading that this stuff was probably going on for so many in the moment. It is sickening. I was slightly miffed never knowing what the heck was actually wrong with Collin. I would have loved to have been in his twisted head. Knox and Low's stories now run side by side until one day at the cafe. This day changes both their lives but is this change for good or not ?? Join their bumpy and crazy rollercoaster ride and see where it leaves them. Knox has been living for years working hard and trying to find that spark. Needless to say he is still missing the one that got away. Once he finds her again there is no mountain too high for him. He will do whatever he has to for Low and he fights for what he wants and it is sexy as heck to read !!

If abuse - detailed abuse and angst and annoying choices are triggers for you then be warned.

About Molly McAdams:

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband, daughter, and fur babies. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm … or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.
