AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
LOL for some reason I thought I wanted this story to go a total different way. I swear this author just has it in for me !! So much emotion in this story you can feel these characters pain and joy. You need to read the books in order and you will not be disappointed with this series. The end of book 2 , the little hint of what was to come, the start of this book and the actual way it ended... WOW good job leaving us hanging and wondering and on the edge of our seats. In spite of what I thought I wanted - I did love the ending so much , the HEA's all around , the 7yrs ahead glimpse, the bits and pieces from the whole gang to close it up tight and then that little snippet that could lead to another story , maybe a standalone tied to this series ?? Congrats Leigh Ann I enjoyed reading this series so much.
We may have come so far with this crew yet it seems right now things are slipping away and lives are out of control. Just when Callie and Bronson find their happiness everyone else is spiraling. Bianca has screwed up with Heath and now vowed to let Dakota go. Realizations hit her full force and she lands herself in a very bad situation. Her road to recovery is not going to be easy and who will be standing by her side ?? The appts with her therapist make me laugh , her strong willed attitude makes me proud and her ability to finally overcome the past was amazing. Was she angsty and ridiculous at times ?? OF COURSE - Did she get a few jabs in here and there to those who deserved it ?? YES YES !! Thankfully she got her spark back and was able to claim her man , jump the huge hurdles they had and find her HEA. There were some questionable moments , some OMG who will it be BUT in the end it all makes sense and everyone is with who they should be with and doing what they dreamed. Man this book had me sweating at times. Dakota kind of threw me for a loop. I wasn't as happy for his road to recovery as I should have been. I think I am having a harder time getting over his past mistakes than Bianca LOL. I was enjoying the multiple POV , I loved understanding things from all perspectives. Heath is a great guy but man Dakota really was an issue for him. You could feel that anger anytime they were near. Lisa is a nice addition to the group I guess LOL !! Once again I am thrilled to have the chance to read this author and will continue to do so !!
