Synopsis:

Welcome to Wynne, population 3,401.

No billionaires. No professional athletes. No celebrities.

In this small town, current events are pondered in mirrors at the local salon or around crowded tables at the diner, and there’s a new couple to gossip about. A rough and tumble woman who works in her dad’s garage, not yet ready to spread her wings, shows the new guy in town what it’s like to finally have roots.

It’s your run-of-the-mill, sexy, Astro van driving dentist meets smart-ass, bass fishing tomboy in a story of real-life romance.

Low on drama. High on love.
Pull up a chair and stay a while.

REVIEWED BY JILL

The first book in this new series is off to a great start with as the author promised low drama and a HEA. This was a great feel good romance about small town, USA and how "country living" is something this city girl would love to do. A hot shot, gorgeous new dentist is moving into town amid a bit of controversy and the first person he befriends is a girl by the name of Mutt...

Mutt O'Fallon was raised by her father and grandfather after her mom ran off when she was four months old. Since her father owned the auto-body shop in town it was just natural progression for Mutt to run the front end/register for him and make fishing lures on the side as a hobby. Mutt was a beautiful woman that looked very much like her mother but being raised by only men she was a tomboy with a capital T and out fished most men she knew.  A chance meeting at the town's diner has her running into an ornery yet handsome man who she ends up sharing a meal with. Little did she know that staying late at her dad's shop to fix the invoices that night would change her entire life...

Dr. Vaughn Renfro is new to town having just moved from Cleveland to take over the dental practice. Vaughn originally planned on moving to Wynne with his long-term girlfriend when he purchased the house but last minute changes have him with NO girlfriend and moving to this new town alone. Circumstances have him getting to town later than he hoped with almost no time to work on his new house that needs a lot of TLC. After his long drive into town all he wants to do is grab a hot meal and stops at the diner in town where he meets a unique but beautiful woman that people have the nerve to call Mutt. Vaughn vows right then and there he will never call her by that name and these two strike up an unlikely friendship his very first night in town...

This was a great book that was set at a perfect pace with just the right amount of heat too. There was also the introduction to so many interesting characters that can tell us their stories I am looking forward to see what book is up next :)
