AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
Ok so I am doing an overall review but also adding in my original reviews from when I read this as a 5 part serial !! I enjoyed it both times I read and this time it was nice knowing I didn't have to hang around biting my nails waiting for what came next !! It has been over a year since I started with these characters so it was nice to come back and see them again knowing what I know now !! Also into the future getting to see where they went and what challenges they face now. I always love to catch up and see my faves all grown up and adult like !! You can't beat the deal to get all 5 pieces in one. And the sneak peek of what is to come !! I read Worth The Chase and enjoyed that story as well.
Bittersweet Revenge-4 stars
My only complaint is that I wish the novella had a little more about Jenna and Corey , the synopsis has a great deal about them which is great but the story starts after that and I would have liked at least a little snippit of their relationship and its downfall , only because I am a glutten for punishment and I love to read drama !!
Jenna has been bullied for quite sometime by Corey , her ex , and all his friends , the whole school thinks she is a slut for reasons unknown and obviously untrue whatever they may be. Jenna is a virgin LOL. It is senior year and Jenna and her BFF Mimi are starting school on the wrong foot. Jenna being tormented and Mimi sticking up for her which creates enemies for her as well. In walks SUPER HOT GUY !! Of course he ends up being related to Corey and not only that but he has a super moody twin. Jenna and Rex hit it off and secretly form a friendship. Rex ends up sticking up for Jenna quite a bit but something is not right about him. Come to find out Jenna thought she was getting revenge on Corey but tables may have turned and Corey may have ruined her again. Lies , secrets and immature high school behavior wrap this novela in a bow !! I am looking forward to carrying on with the story. I was shocked by Ryder , blown away by Mimi's actions and although Corey was a total A$$ I am sorry for his pain and it sucks that he dealt with things the total wrong way. Will anyone be able to redeem themselves in Jenna's eyes ?? What will happen when they all go off to college ??

We end book 1 with college acceptance letters and finding out the guys who have ruined Jenna will be heading to college in the same place...
Here we are months later with Jenna and Mimi getting set up to start classes and move on with life , or so Jenna thought. It does not take long for Ryder , Rex and Corey to show up and start rocking their worlds in more ways than one !! I am still a little disturbed over the whole Mimi and Corey thing , I know nothing has happened between them major but their love/hate struggle is weird in regards to how he treated Jenna for years. Ryder is way more than just the super hot twin brother of Rex , but what the hell is his story ?? Is he obsessed with Jenna , out to get his brother or just crazy ?? He always seems to be lurking around at the most insane times stirring up drama. What is his angle , will we ever know ?? Rex is still madly in love with Jenna and he will do anything to prove that to her , being friends or slowly rebuilding their relationship. Poor Jenna has been heartbroken for most of her teenage years and has no clue how to move on or maybe not move on but forgive and forget. She is still in love with Rex , just really afraid to trust him and anyone , she cannot have her heartbroken again. Very quickly Rex and Jenna mend their relationship , Ryder destroys his relationships with both Jenna and Rex , and of course Mimi and Corey crazy up their road to insanity by driving each other crazy constantly. Will Jenna and Rex finally have happiness ?? I am rooting for them !! Although I love me some Ryder I hope we figure out his crazy and fast !! There is a great lead in for Corey and Mimi's story and I am super excited for that !!!!

So I am shocked that I am 5 starring Corey's story !! I was slightly horrified with the amount of love and desire I felt for him !! Damn Corey is like fire and I want to jump right in him !! I NEED MORE OF HIM AND HE BETTER REDEEM HIMSELF AGAIN !!
From the start Corey has been a thorn in everyone's side , but there has been this undeniable spark of lust between Corey and Mimi that although it pissed me off I was also very intrigued to see where it went. The gang is still in college , Rex and Jenna are happily together loving life and making everyone sick with their sappy love !! Ryder is still Ryder , screwing girls and not taking names !! Corey and Mimi are rooming together and having fun tormenting each other though deep down they both really want each other badly !! When they reach that point , WOW DAMN IT IS FABULOUS !! Corey had me drooling with his dirty talk and all he had done wrong was suddenly forgotten !! Just when Corey and Mimi are enjoying each other and making something of this new found love we have the problem , issue , twist...I won't say it is predictable , although I kind of had a feeling about it , but I honestly was shocked as sh** with the reactions when it was made known. Corey better hold true to his words in the end of the story because he is working his way back on my sh** list.........

Just the name sounds yummy !! I am a sick and twisted soul because Ryder has been a mystery since book 1 and an a$$ but damn if I don't love him the most !!!! I think it is because I am an adult in a stable relationship that I can let myself go all giddy over these guys that treat girls like crap !! For real I was reading this book while grocery shopping , I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN !! LOL
Ryder , a lost soul hiding some pretty damaging secrets about his homelife. Secrets his twin brother does not know about. Ryder up and left for college with his brother and their friends because he had nothing else going for him. Now he is away at college and screwing his way through girls because he has nothing better to do !! That is until he sticks up for Kennedy one day in the hall. Kennedy is a mystery to Ryder and that intrigues him and causes him to feel things he has never felt before. Kennedy has been friends with Sam forever , they were best friends until Sam wanted more and Kennedy said NO. Now Sam lives to torment Kennedy , yes very similar to Corey. Kennedy hardly ever sticks up for herself when it comes to Sam but damn she gives Ryder a run for his money !! Their friendship blossoms quickly and you can tell they have some pretty deep feelings for each other. Of course these feelings are plagued by secrets and past issues. Ryder opens up to Kennedy in ways he never has to anyone and Kennedy attempts to do the same. Sam makes their lives a living hell and when push comes to shove Ryder needs to decide if Kennedy is worth it or if his secrets need to stay hidden. I love Kennedy and Ryder together. They are sweet and electric , innocent and hot !! I enjoyed their story and cannot wait for what comes next !!

This series just kept getting better as the books went on !! I started the series hating Corey , I know it's harsh but he is a pecker head and truly deserved the hate. I began to like him or better yet understand him but still hated what he had done. Gave him credit for owning up and attempting to be better. Fell in love with he and Mimi's love/hate electric connection and then at the end of BH I wanted to murder him , like really 6 ft under.So all I really have to say is that I am such a sucker for these bad boys that break hearts because it didn't take much for me to fall in love with him after he wakes up and realizes Mimi is it for him. Thank goodness he crawled out of his own A$$!!
As strong as Mimi has always been she is utterly broken. Alone , pregnant and missing Corey and also hating him as always. Life is moving on and she is just drifting through the days. With some awesome tough love from Jenna , Mimi snaps out of it and makes a new friend in class , Declan. This smacks Corey in the face and moves his realization along pretty quickly. This book is full of emotions , all over the board but I think what melts my heart is reading Corey and Mimi planning for birth and being parents. The excitement felt during the doctor visits and hearing Corey's thoughts on the pregnancy. I loved being on their journey it was fulfilling and finally gave some peace. I loved the ending and was so happy for all the milestones we celebrated with them !! Would totally love to see more of them , hint hint !!!!
So again this is a great angsty filled and sexy college aged series you can fall in love with and hate at the same time !! You won't be able to put it down once you start and I can bet you be able to relate to some of the crazy nonsense this clan goes through !!
