I knew this part of the duet would have to be EPIC - with the way book 1 ended I was so nervous and excited to see how it would all tie together. Needless to say it lived up to my desires and then some !! We get a glimpse into Porter's past first hand and then we jump right into where we left off. The absolute most amazing yet horrifying thing has just happened and Porter and Charlotte's lives will be once again changed forever. I wasn't surprised with Charlotte's hesitation and confusion at first. We all knew Porter was blindsided yet how did she really know for sure that he had no clue. I was very shocked though with Tom and especially Brady's behavior. After being with Charlotte and feeling her pain in book 1 this was amazing for her and so wonderful to see unfold yet of course now the pain Porter was feeling made it a double edged sword. How could this possibly work out to make everyone happy ?? Travis is such an amazing boy yet I cannot imagine the struggle he went through you could really feel his emotion and despite his actions at times all you could want for him was the best. There were quite a few twists and WOW moments in here that still had me on the edge of my seat. Solutions did not come quickly or easily but I enjoyed watching Charlotte get to know Travis and his sister and of course to get that super hot chemistry with Charlotte and Porter !!
