Remember everything you ever saw in the media about Lindsay, Miley and Paris and times that by ten and what do you get? Blake McQueen, daughter of a prestigious English Politician and total party girl. Blake doesn't care who she parties with or what drugs she uses to get her kicks but anything to sock it to her parents will do. Well that is until after a "one night stand" with a unknown stranger in New York, takes Blake for a spin.
Rhett has his own troubles and secrets to deal with and this feisty blonde is not one of them. But with a chance second meeting, he finds himself in deep trouble. Actual feelings start to grow, different drugs will be taken and chance attacks will be made. Can Rhett actually save this bad girl from herself or will she continue down her destructive path and take him as well.
I absolutely loved this story. However I do have to warn you that it isn't your typical "Fluff" romance novel. This is a gritty story of someone who only wants to be loved and will find anyway she can to get it. At times I found myself cringing at the things Blake was doing or about to do but then Rhett stepped in and not only became her rock but also her savior as well.
Now Rhett on the other hand is one "Hot Tamale". There is some mystery that surrounds him and it isn't until the end of the book that his full story plays out. He does the sweetest things for Blake and seems to always be at the right place, at the right time. Maybe the world needs more Rhett's?
I was provided this gritty ARC in return for my honest review and it was fantastic. Also the book has both Blake and Rhett's POV, which I love. It gives the reader a glance in each characters mind. Please be advised that the sex scenes are GGGGRRREEEAAATTT but also kinda graphic but with the story content what else did you expect.
