I was a pawn. Weak and someone easily manipulated. To be played with as he saw fit. Until YOU. YOU shone light in my now dark world. It was YOU who made me smile. For the first time in this game, I had hope. All because of YOU. The more powerful pieces on the board, however, were a threat to YOU and me. They would win at any cost. Two kings ruling with an iron fist. Allies or opponents, it was hard to tell. YOU promised to save me. Told me we would win. But then I was on the wrong side of the board. This isn't YOU, baby. And I don't know what to do. The game is almost over and I'm counting on YOU. Tick, tock... Warning: This Isn’t You, Baby is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes, excessive drug use, and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for YOU. This story will make YOU smile. This story will make YOU angry. This story will make YOU crazy. I hope YOU love it, baby.

REVIEWED BY JILL

Book four in the War & Peace series is all about Gabriella Sharpe. As with all the books in this series they are not for the faint of heart and contain very dark issues that could cause all types of emotional triggers. So far in this series each book builds into the next, but you DO NOT have to read the previous books in order to read this one though I must warn you that this book ends in a dramatic cliffhanger.
Gabriella - "Brie" was abandoned by her father after her mother was murdered three years ago. She was sent to live with the Berkley family and eventually adopted by them. Heath Berkley - her adopted father- is not a good man and the closer she gets to her eighteenth birthday the more inappropriate his advances towards her become. The only bright spot in her adopted family is her sister Vienna who has become her very best friend/confidant. Brie is then informed she will have to marry a man of Heath's choosing to strengthen his business ties and that sends her into the arms of the lawnboy.
Warren - "Ren" was asked by his father to keep an eye on Gabe's biological daughter Gabriella so he took a job as the Berkley's lawnboy. Three years has passed where Brie and Ren continue to get closer and he never once admitted who exactly he is. Now Ren is back from college for the summer and wants to spend as much time as possible with Brie but her father has other plans for her.
Wow! With the way this story keeps twisting and spinning I'm gonna need an diagram to figure everything out. This intense story just keeps getting better and I can't wait to see where everything ends up :)
