Sheri's Review of All Tyed Up by Julia Harlow ~ RELEASE DAY ~

SYNOPSIS

The past can be murder on relationships.
Isabel Beachwood just lost her dream job. Now she’s forced to move out of her precious Victorian apartment, and in with her stepsister, bringing back ugly memories of a painful childhood.
Ty Griffin is a financial magnate who deals in multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions. His bespoke suits can’t hide a body worthy of a professional athlete. Those intense azure eyes telegraph a keen intellect. And his mouth, the only soft thing about him, is sinfully sensual. But his drive to succeed has all but obliterated any chance for a personal life.

Isabel is surprised when, during her moving sale, none other than the white-hot Ty Griffin, CEO of Grandin Financial, buys her prized Carmel-by-the-Sea table. When she finds out he’s part of the reason she lost her job, her apartment, and her adorable table, she’s incensed.
The moment Ty meets the voluptuous and challenging Isabel Beachwood, he’s completely enthralled. He’s the kind of man who’s used to getting what he wants. And he wants Isabel.

While their steamy relationship heats up, an insidious danger seems to be shadowing them. It’s a treacherous threat that could ruin everything.
Soon Ty and Isabel are dealing with an over-protective stepsister, a highly trained German Shepherd, a pain in the butt Welsh Corgi, a jealous gold-digger, an obsessed suitor, a former lover, and Isabel’s quirky tech colleagues. All of which turn out to be the least of their problems.

Because the past won’t die. And it can be murder.

SHERI'S 4 STAR REVIEW

The last thing Isabel wanted to do was sell her belongings. But when she loses her dream job and forced to move with her ex-stepsister, there is not much a girl can do. She can always move back across the country to stay at her mothers house but who would want to do that. Her life was here and so not there.  So when a sexy stranger shows up at her apartment to buy one of her favorite pieces of furniture, Isabel is ready to rumble. Isabel had to sell her furniture for God Sake, who can be calm in that situation. Who cares if he is super sexy and can make anyone's panties drop!

Being told that he MUST have this specific table for his house, Ty is forced (by his sister) to go and pick it up from some strangers house. However when he arrives he is greeted with the sexy seller and her "fantastic" attitude. Something about her intrigued him but with her cold demeanor, Ty becomes adamant that he will meet up with her again. But the next time he sees her she WILL definitely be singing a different tune. Well he sure hopes so. After doing some research, Ty finds out that Isabel is one of the employees that were  currently being "Let Go" do to his company's take over. Now feeling horrible and still enamored with the beauty , Ty must now dig into the reason why she was being let go and make things right. He at least owes it to her. He was the one responsible for her having to actually sell her furniture in the first place.

With having a rocky childhood, Ellen was the last person Isabel wanted to live with. Her step-family was the main reason why she has such bad self esteem and relationship issues. However over the years, Ellen did change and soon became close to Isabel. So close that she became protective of the young girl she use to torment when she was younger. So when Ty comes sniffing around Isabel, Ellen is on alert and decides that he isn't good for her.

After many chance meetings, Ty convinces Isabel that they should be together. But with Isabel previous self esteem issues and hangups, she is doubtful. How can this man, who has everything going for himself want to be with someone like her? She just doesn't understand but he just doesn't seem to go away.

Ty does just about everything in his power to convince her that she is wrong and is the perfect girl for him. But just as their relationship starts to flourish, the couple become mixed up in massive amounts of drama. Isabel has to deal with a obsessed co-worker who is on the verge of becoming a stalker. Ty has a ex who becomes a "Stage 5 Clinger" and doesn't seem to get the hint that he moved on. And lets not forget the family drama that will soon make Ty realize just how important Isabel is to him. Mix in a "Killer" dog,hot bedroom scenes, a date on a yacht and this book will totally do it for you. Can these two get through everything and come out unscathed? Will Isabel's past finally do her in?

I received this ARC in return for my honest review. This is also the first time I read something written by Ms. Harlow and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a constant flow to the story and at parts I didn't not know what would happen next. Such a great element of surprise. Just when I thought one person was going to be the villain, Ms. Harlow made another character the guilty party. Isabel and Ty could not have been written any better. Both characters possessed great qualities and love for each other. Plus what girl wouldn't want to read about a hot, sexy millionaire? Also her supporting characters were fantastic. Each and everyone of them proved so much support and entertainment for the main characters. There were a few times that I found myself giggling at their banter.

Great 4 Star review.
