But when she's kidnapped by the Grim Bastards MC, freedom comes at a much higher price. He's a bastard without a heart.
Sergeant at Arms Brew Decker plays by his own rules. To him, nothing is sacred but the brotherhood. He lives and dies by the club and would do anything for them—even kidnap an innocent woman. After all, she's merely a pawn in the bigger game. But everything changes when he meets Addy. Suddenly, he'd do anything for his captive.
Can love between a rich girl and a bastard survive without someone losing it all?

REVIEWED BY SHERI

Filthy Bastard is book 2 in the Grim Bastards MC Series but I feel that it could also be read as a stand alone. Many of the characters that were in the first book were in this one as well, so it gives the reader enough backstory from book 1.

Now on to Brew......
Isaac Aka "Brew", grew up quintessential rich with a big house and being sent to boarding school. But when a horrific event occurred, Brew took matters into his own hands and landed a 7 year prison session. But when leaving prison, he discovered his real family, The Grim Bastards. He was a loyal member and would do anything asked but when he is sent out to kidnap the daughter of a rival MC Pres, he wasn't expecting someone else to be with her.

Addy had it all, well at least that is what her parents wanted everyone to see. But what happens behind closed doors is what nightmares are really made of. The only way for her to get away from her parents and help out her sister is to graduate college and leave. She has a plan in place but when going on a shopping trip with her best friend turns into a kidnapping, her plan soon gets turned upside down.

Throughout this book both Brew and Addy grown close and start to fall for each other. But when Addy's secrets come back to haunt her, she feels that it is best to leave Brew behind. She doesn't want to hurt him and feels that she is not worthy of him, However Brew has a difference of option.  He vows to protect her and protect her he does. But are her secrets too much for him to handle? Can Brew get Addy to realize that she is worthy of love and that she is made for him?

I absolutely loved Brew in this book. He has such a way about him that makes me just smile. The things that come out of his mouth could make a girl just swoon. I keep thinking of Jax Teller from SOA every time Brew would do something sweet but in a brutish way. He never looked at Addy as a problem and was totally ready to take her on. Head first if he had to.  And Addy, what a survivor. How can one be put through so much and come out somewhat normal. She realizes early that Brew is the man for her and allows herself to be cared for. The supporting characters in the book are fantastic as well. Trix does a great job of being by Addy's side but it is the boys from the MC that truly have the couple's back. They would do just about anything in order to keep the girls safe.

Let's just say I finished this book in one sitting, it was that good. My house remained a mess, no dinner was cooked and I didn't even get out of my pajamas. Emily, you have definitely hit a home run with this one. This will definitely be a book that will be re-read. Can't wait for the next one in the series.
