Anna Romano had the picture perfect life. As a brilliant high school student and talented artist with a supportive family, she couldn't imagine her life being any better. Her days are spent fantasizing about finishing high school, and dreaming of a future with her loving boyfriend.

Ryan Jacobs had his life figured out. He was enlisting in the Navy, and his high school sweetheart was applying to art school. Just a few more months and the life they'd planned together would become a reality.

On a cold February day, tragedy struck and flipped Anna's life upside down. The bright and colorful world she once lived in turned to gray. Retreating into herself, she pushed Ryan away. She pushed everyone away. Then she ran.

Ryan was lost without Anna, but truthfully, she had been gone long before she even left. He did the only thing he could do, he went on with his life. Years later, the last thing he expected was to bump into her more than two thousand miles from home.

Love, pain, distance, and secrets.

Would their challenges tear them apart?

Or was their love strong enough to mend them forever?

*Here Without You is a standalone romance with a trigger warning. A mass shooting takes place in the prologue and is referenced periodically throughout the book.

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

I challenge myself to read new authors to me each month and this was one of them and I am very pleased to have chosen her !! This was a great story from start to finish. It was filled with many of the things I love about stories.  A dramatic past , a second chance at love , much heartache and much strength. There was the challenge of overcoming tragedy and how that can be so different for everyone involved.  For readers there may be triggers due to the dramatic and tragic events they witness at the start of the story. It was a devastating scene and something that is so realistic so be warned it is hard to read.

Anna and Ryan are high school sweethearts and this one trip to the mall will test their love and strength more than they could ever know. Despite all of her pushing away 5 years down the road Ryan comes to her rescue again and not only gives them a second chance at love but helps to heal bonds of family. Anna has had a long road and her recovery has not been easy. She is finally home and ready to heal and we take that journey with her while at the same time witness a love reborn. I enjoyed the emails back and forth. It was sweet and endearing. Though so many things have changed in the past 5 years one thing has always remained and that is the love of Ryan and Anna and of course her family. I enjoyed seeing Anna's strength and was very pleased to see the outcome of all involved int he story.
