REVIEWED BY JILL

4 stars for Unwritten - the fifth book in the Woodlands series by Jen Frederick. This book can be read as a stand alone with very minimal issues since I have not read the other books and was able to keep up just fine. I did however go back and start to read the series from the beginning. This is lead guitar player/songwriter Adam Rees story and it is not one you want to miss.
Landry Olsen is a glorified computer geek that went from an awkward, shy girl to a smoking hot goddess all while writing computer code in her parents basement. Landry never understood her effect on the opposite sex so when she started getting the wrong kind of attention from a stalker she had no idea what she did wrong. Her brother decides for her that she needs to disappear for a while and head out on tour with his new band.
Adam Rees grew up with a rock star for a parent and has worked towards his own fame for years now. With the addition of their new lead singer the band has what it takes to make it in the big leagues. The only problem is the new guy is bringing along his incredibly hot sister who is totally off limits. I have never been so attracted to a woman in all my life as I have this man's sister and it could cost me everything...
This book was filled was lots of angst, laughter, music and even some mystery. There were times when things did drag a bit, but on a whole it was quite entertaining to read. Can't wait to see where the other will take us next.
