THE PERFECT NEIGHBORS. THE PERFECT COVER.
A Gripping Romantic Suspense Thriller
He’s a contract killer. She likes to even the score. Smack dab in the middle of suburbia, few married couples are as competitive as Jude and Kate.
But then, most married couples don't keep score in the form of body counts. Each hell-bent on a silent pact to out-do the other, the games begin.
Who ends up on top is anyone’s guess. But with these two, one thing’s for sure— not everyone comes out alive.
After all, there are a few things they can agree on: All is fair in love and war. And if they can’t make it work— they’re dead in the water.

“Cheers,” I offer, but it sounds like ‘fuck you,’ which it is, and I hate that we haven’t touched glasses. It’s bad luck, and certainly we don’t need any of that. You don’t seem concerned with luck though, because in two short strides you are standing in front of me, and your eyes are dark. You swallow hard, and this intensity, it kills me. You don’t say anything, and I hate the silence between us. Maybe you’re trying to send a message. Maybe you’re into telepathy; I’m not sure. But I’m not afraid of this side of you, Jude. It’s always been the best part. And so when you push me against the wall, I go willingly. At least at first. Because I know you, and you’ve always enjoyed a bit of a fight.
AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
Again written in this unique second person letter style I never thought I would enjoy comes this dark and twisted tale of married murderers attempting to live a normal life in the suburbs with kids and friends !! This is almost laughable if it wasn't so twisted. When a marriage of two killers is slowly going south there really is only one way to end it - kill the other - but who will be killing who ?? Jude knew that Kate would never be content as a mom/wife yet he was the one still doing the killing for money. At this point in their marriage Kate has become out of control with mishaps and the neighbors are acting weird as is their son and the nannys. OMG the nanny situation is crazy. There are so many little side stories that come about in this book that could spin off into their own. Brady really needs a book !! I want to know what goes on in that little dude's mind. Ironically for Jude it is the insight from the man who made him who he is today that prevents this story from turning into a Guns n Roses song - you know the one it goes like this - " I used to love her , but I had to kill her " !! Jude and Kate trust each other so much there is almost no trust at all - if that makes sense LOL. They can read each other's thoughts yet are scrambling to beat the other at their own game. We all have a different sense of love so why can't they have theirs as twisted as it seems. You MUST read book 1 first and don't give up so easily on them - it is not your typical love story but it is a great story to try to figure out. The mystery is what gives the most excitement - who wants predictable !!??
