“Stay is a power, heart-wrenching story that will consume you heart and soul, leaving you utterly breathless days after the last page is read.” - Kelly Elliott New York Times bestselling author

From NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson comes the next sexy, gripping Bleeding Stars Stand-Alone Novel… I’m Ash Evans. The life of the party. Hot. Rich. Charismatic. A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet. I burn through women faster than the strike of a match. I’ve embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest. Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me. Willow Langston found me at my lowest. Literally. Facedown in a puddle of my own blood. I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt. What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed. Love wasn’t supposed to be a part of the equation. I gave up that nasty complication a long damned time ago. Now I want her more than my next breath. But she doesn’t know what I know. Do I leave to protect her? Or can I face my demons and ask her to Stay?

I have to start this by saying I love all kinds of books - long , short , drama , death , dark , twisted , HEA or not , fast paced , full of details - you get where I am going with this !! When I first started reading for fun about 4-5 years ago I was into messy and angst ridden and serious hold your breath moments. If the stories didn't have that I had a hard time reading. BUT as years went on and I met authors , fellow readers etc etc I started enjoying more and more and being able to switch and appreciate the simple as much as the complex. A.L. Jackson is on my list of originals , the stories I read that pulled me back into reading , I ate up all she had back then and have followed her since. I admitted in my review for book 3 of this series that I had yet to read books 1 & 2 because I got too busy and couldn't fit them in - I am still slapping myself about this because this is the type of writing I crave !! This author is NOT afraid to give us messy and make us mad and as much as my stomach and anxiety hates it I NEED that in my life every now and then !! It felt good to be sucked in and full of emotion , to get eaten up and spit out. Every author has their great qualities and I am always very honest in my reviews , I am easy to please when it comes to what I read BUT I have to praise when praise is due - THIS WAS AMAZING -

Not only did I think of the cover every single time Willow mentioned Ash's HAIR I wanted to be the one grabbing it. I felt the pain they shared and hated the fears they both had of love and being truly happy. Willow and Ash are not only complex people with some serious baggage they also have one heck of a complex story together. Where their pasts intertwine , where their futures plan to go , it will take you for a ride and shake you up good.

Ash has always been the party boy - the whole band was party boys and 1 by 1 we have watched them find love and settle. There was not a ton of hope for Ash , not only did he enjoy his crazy life BUT he swore by it due to his past. It was great to see him instantly caught up and to feel his honesty and see him as he truly should be. Willow had lost a lot , family , love , herself , her business - her past was full of heartache and disappointment. That one morning , that helpless man , all that blood and she can't even begin to realize how much her life will change when they come face to face again.  You can't pretend when the feelings are real. They had an ease to their relationship , a lighthearted fun. I enjoyed them together and Willow fit right in with everyone. Their struggles weren't simple , they weren't dumb choices made on the fly or issues thrown in for the heck of it. Can they overcome their pasts and start over with each other ?? Can they find a way to believe the coincidences they face mean more good than harm ??
