This was a nice fun read. Josh and Peyton “met” unconventionally. But when it is discovered that they need each other, it was fascinating to see how it would all play out. Junk Mail was delightful. It was interesting to see how Josh and Peyton were going to navigate their professional relationship when they had such strong chemistry. The back and forth between “should we or shouldn’t we?” was gripping and seeing how their resolve would weakened because of the chemistry. They couldn’t denied it so how would it all play out? Josh and Peyton were intriguing characters and their story was good. They were so good together. Overall, this was a pleasant read.

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

So I totally missed the release with this BUT here I am weeks later finally finished !! I enjoyed book 1 so this was a no brainer. I will say for some reason I felt it started off slow or with a lot that I didn't grasp because of my own exhaustion. I stopped reading and picked it back up a few weeks later and had a clear mind and was really able to connect the characters from start to finish. I enjoy this author so I am so happy that I made the choice to stop and go back. Sometimes I feel people push through and then really miss out. 

Anton and Piper were a great match. The dark and light finding the perfect space. Anton's past was horrendous and I loved reading his parts in book 1. I was thrilled to get his story and finally see him have some happiness. It was also nice to revisit with Damien and Thea to see how they had grown. This was about chance meetings and fate. I loved the dance aspect of it and the way those things all connected with the good Anton now does for the community. The suspense and danger was just the right amount to keep you on the edge but not overpower the love story building. Of course there was angst and resistance but no lack of fulfillment when the two were together. As much light as Piper had she was definitely a great match for Anton in the bedroom. I liked how things pieced together towards the end and of course wonder if anyone else will have a story...

I managed a bright smile that was so fake it was ridiculous to the other three standing there then turned on my heels and made my way to the French doors overlooking the gulf. Not even the sound of gratitude. “You looked like you needed an escape.” “I did,” he agreed. “I was headed upstairs to escape myself. But I couldn’t ignore my hero mentality and let a poor guy get eaten alive by angry females.” “Hmmm,” was his only response. What did that mean? And why did it have to sound so raspy and sexy? I should be annoyed by his lack of response. Not turned on by a deep husky rumble. Back off Ophelia. Don’t go there. You already discussed this with yourself. He is off limits. Girl code unscripted or some shit. “I owe you one.” His voice and words surprising me. That was as close to a thank you I was going to get, but I’d take it. Besides if he was gushing over me and appreciative would I be as attracted to him? I knew that answer and I was going to pretend I didn’t. It made me sound shallow. I hated shallow. Needing to get out of my own head, I decided I’d do the small talk thing. Or attempt it with him. “No, I think we are even now. I owed you one,” I told him. I felt his gaze on me then.
