AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW
I truly enjoyed this light hearted witty read. I have always enjoyed Kim Karr as an author , she can write a nice easy going read , steamy hotness , suspense and even combine it all. Her last bunch of standalone series have had some pretty amazing guys and women that have no shortage of strengths and problems to overcome. Max and Gigi didn't disappoint. Classic story of boy meets girl in an awkward moment but it changes their lives and we really get to see their real persona develop. Max may be thought of as a playboy and a troublemaker but he really isn't either of those things. Gigi is full of talent and has been selling herself short. It is fun to see her come alive. I have no fashion sense at all but I love reading stories when fashion is a big piece of it. I don't know why but the details of the clothing and photo shoots really give a clear picture you almost feel like you are there.
I may have stated this is a light hearted read BUT that doesn't mean there isn't a deeper story and deeper connection. Nothing that I choose to spoil so go ahead and pick up the story !! I look forward to more royalty stories from this author. And I can't help but point out that Prince Harry was on my mind while reading this , ginger isn't my thing but for some reason Prince Harry makes it work so therefore Max was nothing short of amazing !!
