Abby Thompson’s love life is a disaster. Everyone around her is blissfully falling in love, while she’s busy binge watching anime. The last thing she needs is a walking temptation, in the form of ex-nerd turned dreamy astrophysics professor, Spencer Hill, aka her new client.

It’s her job to find Spencer his dream home, NOT fantasize about a ride on his space rocket. But the sparks between them are impossible to ignore, and soon, Abby is wondering if her losing streak in love could be turning around.

Can she get over her anxiety he’s got her out-brained, and can he let go of the past and the fear that the girl he crushed on in high school is still out of his league?

REVIEWED BY WENDY

3.5 stars

This was a light good read. It was low angst and sweet. Carey focused on the budding relationship between Spencer and Abby. And that is definitely what I enjoy in her books. Spencer and Abby were full of fun and cuteness. They mesh really well together and I enjoyed seeing their relationship progress as the story rolled on. I really liked how the basis was friendship. The banter and conversations and the uniqueness they each brought into it was nice. Their romance was just lovely. I also loved seeing the previous couples from the first two books as well as the rest of Abby’s family. They made the story that much more entertaining. Overall, a pleasant read. I have enjoyed this series and I can’t wait for Gideon’s story next. He is sure to be a hoot ;)
