3 stars

The blurb really had me intrigued. It was an athlete and a nerd-what could be better?! This book wasn’t too angsty and was more on the light side which was good for me. Maverick and Delaney were fine characters and the supporting characters were just as good. I loved the interactions and conversations in the book. The references in the story had me smiling-they were great. All of these were fun and pleasant and made the story a little more enjoyable. It was interesting to see how things would go for these two because there was so much going on behind the scenes. I was invested until the end and couldn’t wait to see how it would all play out. Overall, this was a nice decent read.
