Amie's Review of SIN by Emma Hart

Damien fox lived up to his name. Cunning, sly, and dangerous, fifty percent of Vegas’ strip clubs were his.

Whatever he wanted, money, attention, women, he got.

And now he wanted to buy my bar, no matter the cost.

I wanted him to go to hell on a first-class ticket.

He played a dirty game, and I followed his rules. I let him think he would win.

Despite our differences, it was clear to see that we were no more than two broken hearts colliding in the darkness.

Closed off, sexy, and holding a pain that would crush a lesser man, he was the ultimate sin.

One I couldn’t deny myself, even though I knew better than to trust a fox...

(SIN is book one of the Vegas Nights series.

Each book in this series is a standalone novel.)

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

I enjoyed this story. It was a quick read with some interesting plot lines and a super hot pairing with Damien and Dahlia. At first I enjoyed their banter , Damien the cocky and confident businessman trying to buy her bar while Dahlia stayed the strong and independent woman claiming to have no interest in falling at his feet for his body or money !! So that may have all changed very quickly but they did still have a fun time and I enjoyed their chemistry. Dahlia's bar and its design was so unique I truly loved it and could visualize it immediately with the author's description. Getting to know D & D was an exhausting and emotional trip they both suffered such loss. Damien comes from such a troubled past and it is hard to imagine this strong and confident man ever feeling as lost as he does. He is a tough nut to crack but something about Dahlia has him giving over his heart quickly. Dahlia had an amazing childhood , amazing parents and she was now running their legacy as a tribute to their love and lives. She lost her mother years ago but her father's death is still a fresh wound. I have no likes to give Damien's father and his thoughts to take from Dahlia when she is at her lowest is horrible. He proves to be a crappy man and thankfully Damien is able to put him in his place and remind him of what is important. Dahlia's friends made me laugh and I will enjoy seeing more of them in what comes next. I can't wait to read Lust and then to see if anything comes after !!
