Saint is the fourth book in the Boston Underworld and this is one of those series you never want to end. While all the books can be read as stand-alones I urge you to start at book one - Crow - and try not to fall in love with the Irish Mobsters that Zavarelli brings to life. Like all the books in the series, they are on the darker side and by no means a warm and fuzzy romance, but instead intense, gritty and raw.
Scarlett is determined to seek vengeance on the men who wronged her and has no problem stepping on others to accomplish her goals. Having survived a horrific past Scarlett operates in a almost clinical fashion seeking only the retribution she desperately needs. So when Saint keeps asking to spend time with her and proving he will be there for her she doesn't know what to make of it.
Rory aka Saint is a fighter for the mob and fell hard and fast for Scarlett. Knowing full well that Scarlett has a messed up past and is only out for revenge he is determined to make her see him through a different light , but she is going to fight him every step of the way.
Loved the complex characters and emotional storylines that this author always gives to us. Then add in the mafia guys mixed with a healthy dose of smoking hot sexual chemistry and it is an instant five star book for me! Can't wait for the next one :)
