Sheri's Review of Going Rogue by Chantal Fernando

Title: Going Rogue
Series: The Cursed Ravens MC #3
Author: Chantal Fernando
Publisher: Pocket Star
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: August 6, 2018

Blurb

Love blossoms in the most unexpected of places in this sweet and steamy Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club title featuring a hunky bad boy and a charming nurse.

The men might tease Rogue and call him pretty behind his back, but no one is going to say that to his face. As the vice president of the Cursed Ravens—and with an unpredictable and unruly temper—respect is given to him at any cost.

But Rogue reins himself in when he visits his mother in a local nursing home. Overwhelmed with guilt that he can’t take care of her himself, he can barely handle watching her fade away with dementia. And he knows the staff is exceptional—especially the sweet and beautiful caregiver who pays extra attention to his mom.

It isn’t easy working at a nursing home, but Zoe enjoys spending time with her favorite patient Anne. She knows Anne has a son who dutifully visits her, but when Zoe sees the tall, muscled, handsome stranger, she can tell he’s trouble—beautiful trouble. She knows he’s a Cursed Raven and she knows better than to admit she’s attracted to him. There’s no way she'll date an MC member. Been there done that. But as Zoe and Rogue start to get closer, they realize one way or another, they’ll have to fight to stay in each other’s lives.

REVIEWED BY SHERI

While working with the elderly may be rewarding, there are those times when life carries on and we all know that living forever is not a option. That is what Zoe must face everyday at work and with one certain special patient, unmistakable bonds are formed and certain questions are asked of her. However lines become blurred when Zoe meets Rouge. He is everything a woman could want in a man but the only thing he has going against him is he is the son of Zoe's favorite patient. Can Zoe possibly be able to keep her work and home life separate? Plus she dated a biker once before and it didn't end to well and she looked like a fool. She couldn't possibly do that again? Or could she?

Being the VP of  a MC is a lot of work but its something Rouge faces everyday. His brothers in arms are there for him whenever he needs it and now with his mom being sick, he needs more support they offer him. The daily visits to his mom are getting harder and harder. Her memory is getting weaker and weaker, but the bright side to his visits is her nurse, Zoe. She is one of the most beautiful creatures Rouge has ever seen and the way she loves his mother is just as attractive as her looks. But what kind of life can he offer her?
Once walls are broken, trouble soon starts and Rogue's insecurities catches up with the pair. Can Rogue get through everything on his plate and come to terms that nothing last forever? Can Zoe be just the right person to help guide Rouge in the right direction ?

Well if I am not a Monkey's Uncle, but Chantal did it again. I fell in love with the Wind Dragons and now her new series of hot and sexy bikers are just as "Drool- Worthy".  Both characters are beautifully written and their push and pull with each other is fantastic. I did however find this series a little less gritty as the Wind Dragons but not enough to make me shy away from reading more. The supporting characters a great and the little twist and turns Chantal takes you are makes every chapter a must read.
4.5 stars...…..
