Amie's Review of Making Home With You by Claire Raye

Making Home with You

(Rockport Beach #3)

by
Finn O’Loughlin can’t stop thinking about the first woman to ever capture his attention. Not after an unexpected hook up, or even after she mysteriously shows back up on New Year’s Eve.

After her sudden reappearance, Finn finds himself in a whirlwind of a relationship. But when the town’s most eligible bachelor is suddenly off the market, not everyone is happy about it.

Haunted by the drama of a past hookup, Finn tries to keep his newfound relationship from sinking before it even has the chance to float.

But unbeknownst to him, she’s dealing with problems of her own in the form of a sleazy new boss who doesn’t take no for an answer.

As their new relationship grows, they realize the secrets they keep just may drive them apart.

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
I am trying to figure out if it is the ease in which these books read , the honesty I feel in the characters or the fact that they take place in an area near where I grew up, something about this series has me captivated and easily rating 5 stars.
I love how they all start in the same way, the characters all have connections to one another and beyond the heat and suspense we see a true family building here. This of course always makes me happy and thinking about future spin offs !!
Finn and Sarah's story didn't disappoint and it was fun to see it being HIS past catching up to him and HER present causing issues. This made the suspense so much more because you really didn't know where it would come from next. When we met Sarah in book 2 you could tell she was a wild one !! Ryan has his hands full with his sister and now Finn has some excitement in his small town.
When this story ended I was seriously upset that no other family crawled out of the woodwork to tell us more stories. I do look forward to seeing what these authors do next.

Amie's Review of Finding Home With You by Claire Raye

Finding Home with You

(Rockport Beach #2)

by
Erin Connelly finally has the quiet life she always desired. Hidden away in the beachside town of Rockport, Massachusetts, she unexpectedly finds herself falling for a crass Boston detective.

But she knows his sudden involvement in her life will only tug at the seams of her well-guarded past.

Ryan Summers thinks he has women all figured out, but Erin is a brick wall of resistance. Pushing him away only makes him want her more.

Yet he soon discovers her game of chase is just a ploy to keep him from delving too deeply into the secrets she keeps.

As their undeniable attraction grows, they realize her hidden past just might collide with their present.

AMIE'S 5 STAR REVIEW
It has been awhile since I read book 1 BUT I was thrilled to continue on with this series because that little peek we got of Erin and Ryan was promising !!
These authors do not disappoint with their suspense and sexual heat !! I can't get enough of their characters and Erin and Ryan were explosive in all the right ways. From how they met to how they end up together and then how their story plays out. They are an ongoing circle of heat and suspense that kept me hanging on to the very last word. Of course also thrilled for what would come next with Finn.
Erin has kept many secrets but Ryan is determined to bust through her shell and win her over. I think what I enjoyed most was that Ryan had no issues being honest and going for what he wanted. Finding out the whole story about Erin was fascinating. I never would have guessed her life had been so different before she settled in the quiet little town of Rockport. Like magnets, Erin's past and Ryan's current case in Boston twist together and make it impossible for the secrets to stay hidden. If you enjoy heat and suspense be sure to read this series !!

Jill's Review of Malum: Part 2 by Amo Jones ~ RELEASE BLITZ ~

Malum: Part 2 (The Elite King's Club book 5), a dark and emotional romance by Amo Jones is NOW LIVE!

Some girls don’t like pretty things.
Some girls like things that are destructive, and toxic. Things that fuel our bodies with adrenaline and bring our demons to their knees.
They say magic isn’t real, but it’s it the closest way to describe love? It doesn’t exist physically. It merely exists around us, within us, possessing our souls and making us do stupid shit. Shit like falling in love with a boy who knows how to rip my world apart and raise hell with a simple flick of his wrist. Their secrets are now mine. I’m not just in the middle of this game, I’m helping orchestrate it. Can the cries of my aching soul be enough to drown out the burning embers of my mistakes?
The mind strengthens the heart, roughing the edges to prepare it for war. This is a war I will not win. This is a war of fate. π‘†β„Žπ‘’’𝑠 π‘”π‘œπ‘–π‘›π‘” π‘‘π‘œ π‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘Žπ‘˜. π‘†β„Žπ‘’’𝑠 π‘”π‘œπ‘–π‘›π‘” π‘‘π‘œ π‘“π‘Žπ‘™π‘™. π‘†β„Žπ‘’ 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑙 π‘’π‘£π‘’π‘›π‘‘π‘’π‘Žπ‘™π‘™π‘¦ π‘π‘œπ‘šπ‘’ π‘π‘Žπ‘π‘˜ π‘‘π‘œ π‘šπ‘’, π‘œπ‘› π‘Žπ‘™π‘™ π‘“π‘œπ‘’π‘Ÿπ‘  π΅π‘’π‘π‘Žπ‘’π‘ π‘’ π‘‘β„Žπ‘–π‘  𝑖𝑠𝑛’𝑑 π‘Ž π‘“π‘Žπ‘–π‘Ÿπ‘¦ π‘‘π‘Žπ‘™π‘’ 𝐼 π‘Žπ‘š π‘›π‘œ π‘˜π‘›π‘–π‘”β„Žπ‘‘. REVIEWED BY JILL

5 stars for - Malum: Part 2 - book five in the Elite Kings Club by Amo Jones. This book is the heart-stopping, mind-altering conclusion to Nate and Tillie's story. After all the upheaval in part one I stupidly assumed part two would be a bit more gentle on my soul but Amo shredded all hope of coming out of this one unscathed and set us up for one hell of story with her next King.
Tillie is not herself after everything that has happened but vows to stay strong and rise above no matter the cost. All the tragedy and pain has taken a toll on the once happy and content girl and without Nate to turn to for support she finds an unlikely ally in Brantley who is quickly becoming one of her closest friends. Tillie knows if she crosses that line with Brantley she can never get back what she once had with Nate but there is something about the most damaged of the Elite that tempts her ravaged soul.
Nate is out for blood and he doesn't care who he has to mow down to find the answers he needs. While his behavior may seem callous and harsh it just goes to show these Kings are a complex twisted bunch that we have no chance of ever figuring out. Nate will get justice and make sure things turn out the way they should have been in the first place.
Having long been a fan of this author I consider it a privilege to watch her take her writing to the next level. She has always been an exemplary writer but this duet (written within a series) puts her writing on a whole other level. I highly recommend reading Malum 1 & 2 ASAP!!!

About Amo Jones

Amo Jones is a small country girl totally winging this author thing (she's probably doing it all wrong). She likes cake, loves wine, and her religion is magic. She's a profound work-a-holic, but when she's not writing, you can find her chilling with her kids & partner at the nearest beach, with a cocktail in her hand.
New Zealand is not a state of Australia and rugby is the best sport ever played.
