Jill's Review of Good Gone Bad by Giana Darling ~ BOOK TOUR ~

Title: Good Gone Bad
Series: The Fallen Men Series #3
Author: Giana Darling
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: November 23, 2018
They say one action doesn’t define you.  I killed a man. Stabbed him in the neck and licked the blood off my lips after I did it.
Still, one action doesn’t define you.
I could have called anyone. My father, the Prez of The Fallen MC, our family lawyer, my best friend, Lila, or my brother, King.
I didn’t.
Instead, I called Lionel Danner, the police officer renowned for taking down the Nightstalkers MC. The man who had been my father’s arch nemesis for decades. The man who hated everything I stood for. A man who had disappeared from my life without explanation three years ago.
I called him.
And maybe one action doesn’t define you, but killing a bad man and calling in the good changed my life and it sure as hell changed his.
The third book in the Fallen Men Series. A standalone featuring Harleigh Rose and Officer Lionel Danner.
Author Lee Piper - “So yeah, Good Gone Bad is hot AF. But it’s also more than that. It’s layered, multifaceted, and above all, beautifully written.”
Musings of the Modern Belle - “Good Gone Bad is not just a super steamy romance, it is not just a suspenseful story about taking down a corrupt MC, it is a reflection of how humans aren’t just good or bad. It is a look at how we are both, how we can find our match in another, someone who just inherently gets you. It is about living wild and free while still having limits and being able to surrender and submit for those you love. It is an epic ride I implore you to take. Giana and Danner and Rosie won’t let you down.”
Author R. Scarlett - “I am so so in love with this book and Giana's talent for creating addicting stories and beautiful complex characters.”

REVIEWED BY JILL

4.5 stars for - Good Gone Bad - book three in the Fallen series by Gianna Darling. This one was everything we could’ve wanted and more about our favorite family of bikers and while it could be read as a stand-alone I honestly feel this series would be much more enjoyable if you get to know the men of the Fallen MC as Ms. Darling introduces them to us.
Harleigh Rose Garro is the beloved biker princess of the Fallen MC. For the last three years she has lived away from her family in Vancouver while earning her nursing degree. Now weeks away from graduating she is forced to call on the last person she wants to ask for help to assist her with a situation that she never should’ve let get so out of hand to begin with. Scared and broken H.R. is done being a victim and is determined to become the person she used to be.
Lionel Danner has always loved and cared for Rosie in some way, shape or form since she was six years old. It has been three long years since he has spoken to her and she is an adult in every way with even bigger problems but he would never even think of abandoning her now. Shocked by what happened and worried about H.R. he does the only thing he can do for now until she decides to take things into her own hands and changes all the rules. He really hopes she knows what she got herself into because he refuses to hold anything back now.
Danner was a sexy, dirty dominant man that twists you up in knots and makes you say his name. Harleigh Rose is a seriously strong and sexy heroine that knows what she wants and is not at all afraid or ashamed to ask for it. Family, love and loyalty above all else remains the mantra of the Fallen MC and this book certainly did not disappoint!

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

I always enjoy a Melody Grace series - I admit I read this out of order as I am trying to catch up on the series and didn't go back far enough on my kindle - but it didn't hinder my understanding or ruin anything for me. I feel as if these series flow so nicely together and as standalones because you know what to expect from Melody as a writer and as you read you get a feel for how the series plays out.

Eliza has had it rough and now after losing her job she heads home to help her mom and sister finalize things after losing her father. Ironically one of her first encounters ends up being an arrogant rich yet super hot guy that also ends up being someone connected to her recent job. As Eliza attempts to make choices about staying in Sweetbriar Cove or going back to the city she is plagued with the feelings she develops for this infuriating man Cal. Despite the desires of his family Cal starts to realize he too may be ready for a change of pace. Together Eliza and Cal will make life changing choices that may either bring them together or tear them apart.

In true Melody Grace form you get the steam , the angst , the emotion and potential for absolute heartbreak or happiness !! I look forward to finishing up the series and as always following Melody's writing to see what she does next.

Author: Aurora Rose Reynolds
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 2, 2018

Blurb

Finding out my husband, my best friend, only had months to live was devastating.
Sitting out under the star-filled sky, listening to him wish on star after star, night after night, almost killed me.
He never wished to get better.
He wished for me to be happy.
He wished for me to find the strength to move on.
I told him his wishes were pointless, because happiness wouldn’t exist without him.
I found out soon after he passed away that I was pregnant.
But I had no idea his final wish would bring me something I never thought I’d find again.

REVIEWED BY JILL

3.5 stars for - One Last Wish - book three in the Shooting Stars series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. This book can be read as a complete stand-alone but this is a great series I highly recommend from one of my favorite authors so check out the first two if you get the time. This is a second chance romance that was low on drama and high on emotion about a widowed young mother that gets a second shot at love with the boy who got away.
Aubrey and her twin brother grew up in a small town in Alaska with their dad as the town sheriff so they never really got into much trouble. For as long as she can remember she had a crush on the same boy but he never saw her that way and proceeded to go around town dating everyone else. Over time Aubrey learned to deal with the disappointment and eventually even ended up falling for her best friend Gabe. What she didn't plan on was losing her best friend in the world to cancer and finding out shortly thereafter she was pregnant with his child.
Denver knew long ago that if he ever had a second chance to be with Aubrey he would do whatever it takes to do so. He has spent every day he can of the last four years with both her and her daughter - Lyra to solidify their bond in hopes of forming a relationship to last a lifetime. Denver made a promise to a man a long time ago that he's more than eager to keep.
