Jill's Review of Dirty Work by Chelle Bliss & Brenda Rothert ~ BLOG TOUR ~

DIRTY WORK by Chelle Bliss & Brenda Rothert is now live!
A brand new romantic standalone you won't want to miss!
Politics have never been so dirty...

BLURB:
From authors Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert comes a smoldering standalone enemies to lovers romance that will, ahem…check all your boxes.

Reagan
I hate him. Jude Titan is everything that’s wrong with the male sex: cocky, domineering and loaded with swagger. Oh, and did I mention he’s a Republican? Yeah, the guy’s so conservative he leans to the right when walking. And lucky me, I’m running against him for Senate. But I’ve got plenty of fight in me. A golden boy war hero opponent with a smile that leaves melted panties in its wake? Bring. It. On.

Jude
Damn, she’s sexy. Reagan Preston intrigues me from the moment I lay eyes on her. And speaking of laying…I want between those thighs. But I want to make her burn for me first. Every debate and stolen moment is foreplay for us. She claims she hates me, but her body tells a different story. I plan to win this election, but I also want to win the sharp, fiery Democrat who captures my attention like no woman ever has. Politics is filthy, just like all the things I want to do to Reagan Preston.

REVIEWED BY JILL

5 stars for a book about romance and politics that I for one was super leery about reading but ending up loving all the same. I freely admit I loathe anything political and try to avoid it at all costs but I love all things Chelle Bliss so I had to give it a shot. After the first few chapters I was hooked and loving all things Titan.

Reagan Preston has been groomed to take over her father's seat in the Senate as a Democrat from the state of Illinois. For as long as she can remember that is all she has ever wanted to do with her life. Everything is chugging along just fine until a newcomer shows up and tosses his hat in the Republican's ring for that very same Senate seat. While this man is her polar opposite in every way there is just something about him that gets to her on a visceral level.

Jude Titan is a tattooed, Medal of Honor recipient that was honorably discharged from the Marines after serving his country. After seeing firsthand what horrific conditions the military was subjected to he decided he wanted to make a difference. Jude has met and bedded his fair share of beautiful women but his opponent -- Reagan Preston is what dreams are made of. Jude is instantly drawn to the forbidden woman and starts plotting ways to spend more time with her not caring in the least about the consequences.

This book was captivating almost instantly for me with the two atypical politicians and the sexy forbidden love story. So very well written too that I couldn't even differentiate between the two authors since it flowed so well. I know it is a stand alone but this is one I would love to see turn into a series.
