Our story starts out with Hyun Song, who me meet previously in Dirty Bride Games, and how she is coping with life now that she left the Marino Mansion. As the only escapee of the games Hyun is constantly on alert and finds herself constantly looking over her shoulder. But why? Is someone there? Is her past coming back to haunt her or is this reality something she can just live with?
However there is someone after her but not in the way Hyun thinks. Drake has been watching for a long time. He never interferes but always watches. Something about the girl just captivates him. Maybe it is her broken soul that sparks his interest or her last of self confidence, just something draws him in close. Too close. So close it could be dangerous.
What happens when the stalker meets his prey? Will Drake be there when Hyun's past comes back? Will he be the support she needs? Or will his beauty from afar do what she does best? Run!
Let me just say "WTF did I just read"? When I saw this book hit my Kindle I knew I would be in store for some twisted stuff (insert appropriate curse words here). Clarissa Wild didn't fail her readers with this book. Dirty Wife Games delivers a massive punch of in your face obsession and has more twist and turns than a Lombard Street. This story could be read a stand alone book and references Wicked Bride Games a few times but nothing that would hinder a reader from understanding this story. Now as for Hyun..... well this little bird grew a new set of wings. At the beginning of our story we find that she is the same girl we met in the first book but with help from Drake (and the twist from the end) she fully grows into a powerful woman. And Drake...who knew a stalker could be so damn hot! Something about the way he watches over Hyun can make just about any lady swoon. And those little notes he leaves behind. Well all I can say is that I wish my hubby would leave one for me.
I did take off one star for the constant back in forth from past to present in the story. At times I found it somewhat distracting but overall it wasn't so bad. I guess it was necessary

My breathing is shallow, ragged, as I silently watch her look up at me with those doe-like eyes. She’s magnificent, so innocent … so ripe for the taking.
I don’t know if she’s ready for me … but I can’t return to where we were before.
Her eyes are skidding across the room, and then they zoom in on me. Her lips part but no sound comes out … yet.
I place a finger on my lips and shush her softly, a devious smile lingering. I whisper seductively, “Don’t make a sound. We don’t want the neighbors to hear.”
I prowl closer, approaching the foot of her bed without taking my eyes off her. I feel like an animal, raging with hormones that beg me to fuck her. But I have to take it slowly, so I don’t scare her.
But as my knees touch her toes, she pulls them back, drawing the blanket back too. I can see her sucking in a breath when I lean over and place my hands on the bed.
She watches my every move as I hover over her legs, my mouth salivating from the mere anticipation of tasting her. Her bare feet are in front of me, and I bend over to kiss the top, my fingers softly sliding up her leg. Her skin erupts into goose bumps.
I bite my lip and kiss her ankle, gazing up at her to see if she’s still looking. I want her to see everything I do… everything she makes me do.
Just as I watched her, I want her to be a spectator now.

WELL Hyun has certainly grown from the timid girl we met in Wicked Bride Games. She has had enough of people taking advantage of her and so now she is taking matters into her own hands. This can be read as a standalone BUT why do that !! This is a dark/twisted series and if you like that kind of thing then you may as well take it all in !! This is told in dual POV and we get a bit of Drake's past to kind of understand his obsession with Hyun. His stalking and her acceptance of it will make sense at the end but for some it may come across as simply crazy !! Who the heck gives in that easily to a stalker after all she has been through ?? The notes , the pictures , the things she is keeping hidden that seem to keep popping up ?? There is a bit of mystery and suspense along with a whole lot of explosive heat. Clarissa's dark and twisted stories are hard to review without giving much away and I do warn they are not for those looking for a sweet love story or simple HEA. There is violence , abuse , blood and a whole lot of crazy. Sometimes I was scratching my head thinking how the heck will this come into to play and other times I was fascinated with my thoughts of what was to come. As always I thoroughly enjoyed the story from start to finish and yes the ending is as HEA as you can get !!
