Amie's Review of Ego Maniac by Vi Keeland ~ REVIEW BLITZ ~

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated. Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent. I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place. I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind. I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages. The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

AMIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW

I just adored this story. Honestly Drew may be an egomaniac BUT he has an amazing heart and the amount of love he has is so much more than I expected from him. I loved the cover and I loved seeing some honesty and ease to a relationship. Yes there was struggle and a bit of angst , as always a dumb decision made that possibly will ruin the HEA but it flowed and was a nice quick read with plenty of juicy excitement and heartwarming moments !! Drew's gift, his attention to detail and just the honesty of him falling made him easy to love and believe. Drew was the guy we always read about - jaded by his ex, put of by his mom and due to his job of divorce lawyer he had no faith in marriage or relationships. Arriving home from a trip he wants to check the remodel of his office and he finds what he thinks is an intruder yet she claims she is in her office. Right from the start they have a fun chemistry and you just honestly couldn't help enjoy their adventure. Something about Emerie had Drew feeling generous and interested from the moment he saw that backside !! What may have started as lust and sexual tension turned into genuine want and desire. Emerie had moved to NY hopeful for a relationship with her best friend and she wanted that HEA with love and she was not a one night stand or a fly by the seat kind of girl.  They had a deal and it worked very well. We got to get to know them as they got to know each other. Beck's piece of the story was heartwarming and heartbreaking , Baldwin was kind of a pain and Roman was the man of reason yet he totally seems to have a story to tell !! I loved how it ended and would honestly love to catch up with them in a couple years to see where they end up.
